The first graduates of the academic path born from the BF Spa - Federico II University partnership have been announced

On 4 April, in the Chinese Room of the Department of Agriculture, the first graduates in Agricultural Science and Technology were announced, after performing their entire dissertation at Bonifiche Ferraresi in Jolanda di Savoia (Fe).

The young students Francesca Devoto, Alfredo Lorenzo and Nausicaa Occhipinti successfully discussed their dissertation, all achieving a final grade of 110 cum laude. The Graduation Committee was headed by Department Director Danilo Ercolini, and the ceremony was also attended by Dr. Francesco Pugliese, R&D Area Director of the BF Spa Group.

From the 2020/2021 academic year, a partnership agreement hasstarted between the University of Naples Federico II, in particular with the Department of Agriculture, and BF Spa, Italy's most important agro-industrial group; this collaboration is aimed not only at enhancing students' professional and scientific skills in the field of precision agriculture, but also at training young professionals to use innovative and sustainable technologies increasingly required by the job market.

Francesco Pugliese, R&D Area Director of BF Spa, made the following statement:

"Today's event represents the completion of a path started two years ago between the BF Spa Groupand the Federico II University, whose collaboration has allowed three future professionals of the sector to be able to spend three months of their academic course at our campus in Jolanda di Savoia and thus to be able to deepen their knowledge of best practices in the agro-technical field, flanked by the professionals of the BF Group, which now represents an excellence in Europe."

"Training has always represented a fundamental factor for the BF Group and will continue to do so in the future, through new important projects, which will allow us to better prepare the professionals of the future, offering them an increasingly wide range of quality services. I would like to conclude by offering our warmest congratulations to Nausicaa, Francesca and Alfredo."
