Training

Training is an integral part of our vision and is linked to research and development (R&D) and the supply of services for precision agriculture.

"The need to train experts and specialists with transdisciplinary skills absolutely new, who are used to understand and manage the difficulties of phenomena, and who are able to adopt rational solutions in complex farming systems such as those of agriculture, is a top priority for the BF Group."
Federico Vecchioni
CEO of the BF Group
TRAINING PATHS

Our commitment

Innovation is our priority: we collaborate with the academic world, the research community, companies and start-ups, with the dual objective of integrating agronomic expertise with technological expertise and ensuring constant technology transfer on innovation and R&D issues.

We develop and deliver continuous training courses that are customised, highly specialised and oriented towards research and development, technological innovation and sustainable development (economic, environmental and social).

SUMMER SCHOOL

DIGITAL WATER MANAGEMENT FOR SUSTAINABLE IRRIGATION

IBF Servizi, in collaboration with the Universities of Parma, Bologna and Teramo, Crea, Anbi and the Canale Emiliano Romagnolo, organised a Summer School from 12 to 16 September 2022 for 25 participants, including PhD students, researchers and service providers. Designed to increase the skills of students from various Italian and international universities, our Summer School focused on the use of sensors and data analysis for the digitalisation of irrigation. The students debated with university lecturers, researchers and company experts who took turns in lectures, practical exercises, case studies conducted directly in the field, on both herbaceous and tree cultivation systems

MASTER'S DEGREE

We support the first-level master's degree in precision agriculture

Now in its fourth edition, the Master's course is organised by the University of Tuscia, the University of Teramo, the Universities of Florence, Padua and Salerno, the National Research Council (CNR) and the  Council for Agricultural Research and Analysis of Agricultural Economics (CREA). The aim is to train people who can guide companies towards the transition to digital and precision agriculture: agronomists, but also engineers, computer scientists, experts in environmental and biological processes, ready to effectively apply what technology offers.

MASTER II LIVELLO

UNIVERSITIES

Development of training paths

We collaborate with leading universities for the development of training paths: PhDs, internships, work placements and research theses. We host internships and traineeships at our headquarters.
